Court case between SM Entertainment and Crebeau’s WiShop Plus canceled

Crebeau’s WiShop Plus / 위샵플러스 (WSP), a cosmetic company that TVXQ’s Yoochun, Jaejoong, and Junsu are investing in, were known to have filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and CEO Kim Young Min for defaming Crebeau / WiShop Plus’s image. Now, it’s been revealed that the lawsuit has been dropped.

As a recap, a controversy arose last year due to alleged claims of SM’s slave contract. The JaeChunSu trio decided to step out of SM Entertainment due to their dissatisfaction towards SM’s unfair contract and disrespect towards their rights. SM Entertainment rebutted and stated that it wasn’t about the supposed slave contract rather that the trio were motivated by money due to their investments into the cosmetic company. This resulted in Crebeau / WiShop Plus to file a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and CEO Kim Young Min., due to the blame being put on the cosmetics company and their image being tarnished.

With the lawsuit now dropped, SM Entertainment is currently examining ways to make Crebeau / WiShop Plus take legal responsibility for negatively impacting the reputation and image of CEO Kim Young Min and others within SM Entertainment.

Getting popularity, Yoochun Japanese TV Drama Series Gained 250,000 Downloads Record on Its First Day

Yoochun’s first TV series in Japan, “Beautiful Love ~君がいれば~” starts airing through BeeTV in early June. The drama is about a handsome chaebol roled by Yoochun and Omasa Aya as a journalist dreaming to be a novelist, from their confrontations, gradually they start to understand each other, a kind of Cinderella love story.

Even since the first day of video release, the number of download of this drama has been breaking the previous record by gaining 250,000 downloads, and together with “Making off ~ Beautiful Love ~” the drama has set a record to be the most viewed video for 4 consecutive days, definitely garnering its popularity!

Yoochun with his own unique charm that is different from his bright performance on stage as a singer, as an actor identity, he has delivered a natural acting skills, creating topics/sensation.

Meanwhile, the drama’s theme song “Kimi ga Ireba ~ Beautiful Love” and inserted song “Intoxication” is sung by Yoochun’s group mate Junsu and are included in XIAH Junsu’s first solo album. The album has recorded more than 200,000 copies sold.

Yunho Goong Musical Press Conference

For the upcoming musical "Goong", A press conference for the musical was held this afternoon at the Seoul Imperial Palace Hotel on June 16th, to which the entire cast showed up and talked about various subjects. Most of the spotlight was of course put on Yunho as he spoke up about why he wanted to participate in a musical. DBSK's Yunho will take the lead role for the Goong musical as Prince Shin

Yunho will be working alongside Lee Chang Hee, Jung Donghwa, Seo Hyun Jin, and SNSD SooYoung’s sister Choi Soo Jin.

Yunho stated, “I have experience in dancing, singing, and acting, and with these three expressions, I think I can really convey true emotion.” He then continued to state, “At the start, I wanted to try many different areas. When it came time to choose, I was really hesitant, but in the end decided to choose a musical.”

The musical will feature a variety of dance styles including hip-hop, jazz, and even traditional Korean. It begins September 8th, and will last for 7 weeks at the Seoul National Museum’s theater
